Today’s post is a little different than what you usually see on Living Chirpy. As you all know by now, I am a firm believer in cooking from scratch using fresh, whole ingredients – simple right? Yes… and no. Life is life, and it doesn’t always go according to plan (stupid life). Cody and I do our very best to plan weekly menus and we try to cook fresh for every meal of the day, but lately it’s been a lot tougher than usual. You know, being 8 months pregnant and everything that goes with that AND scrambling to get our Tiny House finished before the big BABY DUE DATE. It’s a bit overwhelming, to say the least.
So, for the past few weeks we’ve been eating out and grabbing fast food for dinner more than I care to admit – whoops. I know how hypocritical that is coming from someone that runs a blog preaching the healthy life while not being perfectly healthy myself at the moment. Like I said, that’s life and we’re all just trying to do the best we can, right? …Right?!
