Preheat grill to a medium high heat.
Add the onion, vinegar, tomato paste, garlic and hot sauce to a sauce pan and simmer for 20 minutes.
Season the wings with salt and pepper and place on the grill. Turn the wings occasionally until they are browned and the flesh is no longer pink, about 25-30 minutes.
Once the wings are done, toss them in half the sauce and save the rest for dunking!
