Ingredients
2granny smith apples(peeled and cut into slices)
1/4cupbutter
2tbspraw honey
2tspground cinnamon
1pinchnutmeg
2tsplemon juice
4tbspwater
Instructions
Melt the butter in a sauté pan over a medium heat.
Add the apple slices and cook for approximately 5-10 minutes over a medium/low heat, until they start to caramelize.
Add the spices, honey, lemon, and a splash of water.
Cook until the ”sauce” is thickened. Add more water if you’d like to cook the apples longer and the pan is too dry.
