2poundsfresh green beans
2cupsvegetable broth
3garlic cloves,minced
2tbspbutter
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In a large sauce pan combined green beans, vegetable broth and garlic. Cook until broth is cooked down to nothing.
Add the butter in the pan and toss before dishing up. Season as needed with salt and pepper.
Notes
Be sure to salt the beans well - it’s amazing what enough salt can do for the natural deliciousness of green beans.
If all the vegetable stock is cooked away and you’d like more tender green beans, just add more broth until they are cooked to your desired tenderness.
Omit the butter if you’d like it Paleo, and use Ghee instead for Whole 30.
