  • 1lb ground beef [500g]
  • 2 large onions (diced)
  • 2 large carrots (sliced)
  • 2 cups baby potatoes (halved, cubed if using sweet potato)
  • 2 cups green beans (sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 4 cups beef broth/stock
  • 2 canned tomato
  • 2 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon parsley


  • Set the Instant Pot to the Sauté setting and sauté the ground beef and onion until the ground beef in browned.
  • Add all the rest of the ingredients to the pot and stir.
  • Seal the instant pot and use the manual setting - High Pressure and 12 Minutes on the timer.
  • Use quick or natural release.
  • Serve and enjoy!

1. Omit the potato, or substitute it with cauliflower (or any other vegetable of your own choice) to make this hamburger soup recipe low carb and keto approved.
