Use thick yogurt: Whole milk or Greek yogurt freezes creamier and helps prevent icy popsicles. Thinner yogurts can result in a firmer, icier texture.
Sweeten to taste: Blueberries vary in sweetness. Taste the mashed berries before layering and adjust the honey as needed.
Mash, don’t over blend: Lightly mashing the blueberries keeps small fruit pieces and creates a more visually appealing swirl. Blending fully will give a smoother but more uniform texture.
Layer evenly: Alternating small spoonfuls of yogurt and blueberry mixture helps create defined layers and an even swirl in each popsicle.
Freeze completely: Allow at least 4–6 hours for the popsicles to freeze solid. Removing them too early can cause cracking or bending.
Release gently: Run the popsicle molds under warm water for a few seconds, then gently pull to release without breaking the popsicles.
