Jean Clover says
Well since
we're bragging here I've been an insulin dependent diabetic since I was 28, so 36 years and I have virtually no damage anywhere. My a1c is under 6. Eye doctor has always said my eyes are perfect, aside from being blind. I've had three tiny ulcers on my toes that healed quickly one or two toes burn sometimes but it's not bad. I had a stroke 10 years ago but that had more to do with butter and ice cream I think. My kidneys are excellent thanks to a low dose of lisinopril and I'm fitting to give my twin sister one soon. A few skin abcesses and thats it. I really don't deserve credit for this good fortune. My sugar was high for years and I even stopped taking insulin couple times for a year or so. (I realized it kept me from losing weight so I stopped it strictly dieted and I'm down 150 lbs these days.) Another saving grace for me is my blood pressure is low. Thank you Jesus!
