So, I've always known what a frittata was. I've seen pictures. I've scrolled past recipes on Pinterest. But only a few days ago did I have my very first frittata, and it was delicious!

It's so easy to make, and you can switch up the ingredients and come up with any combination that suits your fancy. So get in the kitchen and get inspired by these 10 Wholesome Frittata Recipes that I found...

    1. Smoked Salmon Frittata with Lemon Aioli

Smoked salmon is one of my all-time favorite foods. This frittata is my kind of breakfast or lunch.

    2. Summer Vegetable Avocado Frittata

Frittata is good in any season. For summer, slice some avocado and place on top for a refreshing lunch.

    3. Taco Frittata with Sweet Potato Crust

I love taco-inspired foods, so this frittata is right up my alley. Another favorite of mine is Chicken Taco Soup.

    4. Sausage and Butternut Squash Frittata

Hmm, this is a perfect frittata for colder weather. Rich and satisfying.

    5. Asparagus Frittata with Spicy Sausage and Leeks

    Another easy combination to try.

    6. Chorizo, Sweet Potato, and Caramelized Onion Frittata

chorizo sweet potato and caramelized onion frittata

Hmm, I love all of it. Chorizo, sweet potato, and caramelized onion. If you have leftover ingredients from dinner during the week, like a half-chopped onion, or small piece of chorizo - make a frittata.

    7. Mushroom and Leek Frittata

Mushroom works really great in a frittata if you want some savory flavor in there.

    8. Fajita Frittata

Hmm, you don't need to convince me to make this one. Fajita Frittata sounds amazing!

    9. Bacon, Mushroom, Sun-dried Tomato, and Pesto Frittata

All the great ingredients in this frittata make a really delicious, strong flavor. A frittata doesn't always have to be light and fresh. With the right filling it can be heavier and really satisfying as a meal.

    10. Mediterranean Frittata

Mediterranean flavors never get old, in my opinion. It's really easy to spice up your frittata Mediterranean-style, if you like this flavors as much as me!
