I've loved kebabs since I was a kid! Here in South Africa we call them "sosaties". They're easy to make, and they're pleasing to look at. What's not to love? I've never really had anything out of the ordinary when it come to kebabs. Just your regular old beef and chicken kebabs. So, I thought it might be a good idea to try something new!

I have a few recipes here that I found online. There's meat I haven't had kebab-stye before. New accompanying sauces that I want to try. New flavor combinations. I'm excited! If you love kebabs and want to spice things up just like me, take a look at these 10 Wholesome and Healthy Kebab Recipes...

    1. Steak Kebabs with Chimichurri

Steak and chimichurri go so well together. I've only recently started eating this combination, and I love it!

    2. Ham and Pineapple Mini Kebabs

Inspired by the toppings of a Hawaiian pizza (does pineapple actually go on pizza??). The natural sweetness of the pineapple really complement the smoky flavor of the ham. Delicious!

    3. Chicken Fajita Kebabs

I'll gladly skip the tortilla shell when it comes to fajitas. For me, it always just ends up falling apart and I end up eating the stuff with a fork. It's what's on the inside that counts, right? These delicious fajita-spiced kebabs are served with some guacamole goodness.

    4. Easy Salmon Kebabs

Hmm...something on the lighter side. Salmon and pepper kabobs with a drizzle of lemon? I know what I'm having for lunch.

    5. Vegetable and Sausage Kebabs

It's just cut up sausages and some chopped vegetables. But skewer them with a stick and suddenly they're ten times more amazing. This looks super tasty and really easy to make.

    6. Honey Sriracha Chicken Kebabs

Yes, please! I love sriracha. Once I almost finished an entire bottle of it in a week, and someone told me, "Don't burn a hole in your stomach!" It's totally worth it (just kidding).

    7. Cajun Shrimp Kebabs

I love cajun flavors. These kebabs are a great way to capture the important flavors of cajun cooking without all the frou-frou. Sometimes I just don't want to cook dinner for more than an hour.

    8. Asian Sesame Steak Kebabs

The magic is in the sauce! Try these delicious Asian-style kebabs.

    9. Cajun Chicken and Sausage Kebabs

Some more cajun for you over here. I give a thumbs up for chicken and sausage!

    10. Grilled Balsamic Chicken, Cherry, and Peach Kebabs

Try something new, even if it's a little scary-sounding. You'll be surprised what kind of amazing flavor combinations there are!
