For our version of beef and broccoli, we used ground beef to keep it easier on the wallet. Depending on your diet you can serve this dish with cauliflower, white or brown rice.

This ground beef and broccoli recipe needs just a quick stir-fry and you’ve got dinner on the table in less than 30 minutes – even faster if you buy prepared vegetables!

Ingredients to Make Ground Beef And Broccoli:

  • ground beef
  • broccoli
  • onion
  • soy sauce
  • sesame seeds
  • honey
  • minced garlic
  • grated ginger
  • pepper

How to Make Ground Beef And Broccoli:

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame seeds and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Add the onion and ground beef to a large skillet sauté until the beef is browned. 5-10 minutes.
  3. Add the broccoli and sauce and cook until the broccoli reached your desired level of tenderness. 5-10 minutes.
  4. Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro, red pepper flakes and more sesame seeds. Serve with cauliflower, white or brown rice and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 6 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp raw honey
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame seeds and pepper. Set aside.

  • If the pan gets too dry while cooking, this is when you can add some of the water.
  • Serve this dish with cauliflower, white or brown rice depending on your personal diet.
