Our part of world has only had the occasional super cold days this winter, but when those cold days hit - you know we make the most of it. Bundled up inside with a cup of steaming hot chocolate, maybe watching a movie or curled up with a good book. Ooooh yeah! We used to be instant hot chocolate packets kinda people, but not anymore - obviously. We’re quick low-carb hot chocolate kinda people now!
These days though, our hot chocolate moments are not what they used to be. A lot of times they end up being ~cold~ hot chocolate moments. For somebody that prefers her hot chocolate “burn-my-throat” hot, it’s definitely pretty sad ????. I had my “I guess my days of drinking scalding cups of tea/coffee/hot chocolate are over…” moment about 4 days after Bo was born…lol
Practice makes perfect though, and while we’re still learning how to time things with an infant thrown in the mix, but we’re definitely getting better at it with every passing day*. Hurray for HOT hot chocolate!
*(Leaving the house still takes us about an hour longer than it used to though. Yikes!).
