In South Africa there is a very popular yogurt drink called "Yogi Sip", and Zellie (our idea factory) thought it would be great to make our own Chirpy version of it -> Apple Blueberry Yogurt Drink. Judging her ideas by our uber popular Japanese Clear Onion Soup (our very first taste of a somewhat "viral" pin), we know we better trust whatever ideas she brings to the table!
As it's summer on this side of the equator, it means that blueberry season is in full swing. You know I like to take full advantage of seasonal fruits and veggies... (before I finally head back to the USA (and the cold) in exactly one month).
My stay in South Africa is turning out to be much longer than we expected, so we quickly ran out of our recipe backlog to post while I was here. This meant that when Cody came to visit me, we needed to use our precious little time together to shoot a few recipes to keep our blog going for my final stretch at home.
This recipe here is one of our new ones, and the first try at an improved look for our food photography. Cody took one of his mom's vintage lenses (don't ask me any technical questions about this, because unfortunately I don't know lol) and we are so excited about it! I finally have the "blur" I have always wanted in my photos!
Our first recipe shot with this new "old" lens is an easy peasy one using only 3 ingredients! Plain yogurt, fresh juicy blueberries, and a splash of apple juice to loosen it up and give it an extra pop of sweetness - and flavor!
Toss it all into a blender, blend until smooth and voilà! An Apple Blueberry Yoghurt Drink that is sure to hit the spot. Easy, delicious and nutritious (as always!).
Something new to look out for (for our fellow bloggers) is our monthly income reports, with the first one just about ready to be published! From then it will be published the first Monday of every new month, meaning the February report will be published the first Monday of March and so on. We're really excited about it and we hope you are too!

Hi Jolene, there is a print button in the top right corner of the recipe box on the page itself. I tested it on my laptop, phone and desktop computer and it seems to be working fine! Hope that works for you! 🙂
