You don’t have to give up muffins on a gluten-free diet with these 10 delicious gluten-free muffins recipes, that are Paleo approved as well.

By making smart ingredient swaps it’s possible to bake delicious muffins while still being healthy and diet compliant.

There’s so many amazing gluten-free muffin out there, but we’ve singled out our 10 favorites from our archives, as well as from other bloggers.

Disclaimer: some of these recipes use honey or maple syrup. Here at Living Chirpy we believe in using whole ingredients with minimal processing (and no unpronounceable chemicals). If you’re trying to avoid sugar, even natural ones, then simply leave it out of the recipe, or use less than the recipe calls for. You can also substitute by whichever sweetener fits your personal diet.

What Is The Best Gluten-Free Flour For Muffins?

The best way to make gluten-free muffins from scratch is by using an appropriate gluten-free flour.

The most easily accessible flours these days are almond flour and coconut flour. These flour are also the most widely accepted by various diets.

Other gluten-free flours like oat flour and rice flour is also great, but not compliant to many other diets.

Why Are My Gluten-Free Muffins Dry?

To avoid dry muffins it’s usually a good idea to use a blend of flours to properly replicate the texture and flavor of regular flours.

If you’re not a serious baker, I’d suggest buying a good gluten-free flour mix that has already taken out all the guesswork and experimentation.
