10 Wholesome Seafood Recipes

I can’t believe there was a time in my life when I used to HATE seafood. Sure, as a kid I ate some fish here and there, but nothing crazy. It was only in my teens that I started branching out. Shrimp, crawfish, crab, calamari, and everything else (well, not EVERYTHING ????). It was a whole new world of flavor, and there was no turning back for me.

As I’ve said many times before, anything can be good if it’s prepared the right way. Take a look at these delicious 10 Wholesome Seafood Recipes for some inspiration…

1. Avocado Tuna Melt

Throw this together for a quick and light lunch. Yum!

2. Sriracha Glazed Seared Scallops

You can put sriracha on almost anything, in my opinion. One of my friends call it “The Disgusting Sauce”, but for me it’s a divine culinary gift ????????!

3. Rustic Lobster Bisque

There’s nothing better than a creamy seafood bisque to warm you up on a cold day. Makes me feel all cozy ☺.

4. Crab Cakes with Lemon Garlic Aioli

Crab cakes aren’t as popular in South Africa as they are in the USA. So growing up on African soil means I never got exposed to them…until I started traveling. I can’t remember exactly when I had my very first crab cake, but I’ve been enjoying them regularly ever since!

5. Greek Shrimp Salad with Warm Lemon Butter Dressing

There’s something about seafood and Mediterranean flavors always cheer me up. This Greek shrimp salad is a must-try!

6. Coconut Curry Mussels with Zucchini Noodles

Mussels in a delicious coconut curry broth? Yes, please! Right now, thanks.

7. Easy Cauliflower Paella

If you’ve never had paella you have certainly been missing out! It’s definitely one of my favorite seafood dishes.

8. Grilled Salmon with Avocado Salsa

Simple flavors = maximum deliciousness. I never get tired of salmon and avocado. They work so well together!

9. Seafood Gumbo

Try this delicious Louisiana classic!
